AVP of Finance 

Position: AVP of Finance

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Pay: Up to 175,000 annually & bonus opportunities!

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Controller/Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager preferably within the mortgage brokerage and/or financial services related industries (i.e, FinTech)
• Previous experience in developing reporting for and giving presentations of complicated concepts to senior leadership, the CFO, CEO and the Board of Directors is required.
• International accounting experience is a plus but not required.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
• Advanced degree (MBA, CPA, or CFA) preferred.

Job Description:

• Collaborate with the CFO to establish and develop the FP&A department.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, forecasting and budgeting to support company objectives.
• Identify key performance indicators, prepare relevant data and make strategic recommendations.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting using Great Plains or comparable financial software.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities, guiding strategic decisions.
• Provide financial education and information to management and the operations department to support decision-making and goal attainment.
• Implement financial and operating benchmarks, budgets and reporting standards.
• Present and participate in Board meetings and discussions.
• Guide financial decisions by applying company policies to the current economic landscape.
