- Risk Management:
- Evaluate and manage investment risks through rigorous analysis and adherence to risk management policies.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization's investments from market fluctuations and economic downturns.
- Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of financial markets, economic trends, and investment opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact investment strategies.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with external investment managers, brokers, and other stakeholders to leverage market insights and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, legal, and compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present investment performance reports, portfolio reviews, and market updates to senior management and board of directors.
- Communicate investment strategies, risks, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
