About The Department
The University Advancement division is a comprehensive development and alumni relations enterprise with a staff complement of approximately 135 full-time employees. Functional units within Advancement include development/fundraising, alumni relations, stewardship and donor relations, advancement communications, special events, gift processing, research, prospect management, gift planning, corporate and foundation relations, information systems and management, and infrastructure services.

About The Position
The Communications Website Manager is responsible for content migration, website management, website builds, and project management for websites under the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations. The Communications Website Manager coordinates with necessary stakeholders to ensure brand compliance, develop communication and engagement plans for specific projects, and manage their effective implementation.
Responsibilities
Manage the migration of content, ensuring a smooth transition and integration of materials across platforms;
Manage the day-to-day operations of the website, including content updates, page creation, website maintenance, and bug fixes;
Audit the website on a regular basis to ensure quality, consistent messaging, and adherence to university standards;
Evaluate, monitor, and implement optimization of content, images, and all elements on the website to ensure a seamless user experience;
Plan, post, and audit content on the website on a regular basis and connect with key stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, timely, and relevant;
Using SEO best practices, implement changes throughout the website to improve and demonstrate results, increase traffic and overall conversion;
Create content projects that fulfill audience objectives and strategies, mapping to the content calendar;
Manage special projects to effect larger improvements to the overall user experience;
Utilize project management software to manage content projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals;
Monitor and report website analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate site performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations;
Engage stakeholders regularly to educate them on website performance and governance, seeking timely feedback for continuous improvement;
Develop short, and long-term plans for web maintenance and optimization;
Collaborate with the Advancement communications team on website needs and project status;
Collaborate with the Office of University Branding to ensure brand compliance of websites; and
Collaborate with contractors.
Required Qualifications
Prior experience with Drupal and Wordpress;
Demonstrated experience with content migration; and
Demonstrated experience with website management.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with website building; and
Experience with project management software.
