The Department / Team:

This role is fits in the KYC OU and is crucial to day-to-day operations. The Core Data team is crucial to maintaining the quality of the GRID database and transparency to our clients.


The Role / Responsibilities: In this role, you will provide general Data analysis, research and reporting for the GRID Database. Ensure the timely delivery of all research. Integrate functions, processes, and systems to optimize resources. Curate and enter data and profiles into the database.

  • Assist and support internal and external clients with questions about data scope, coverage, quality, sourcing, etc.
  • Evaluate online sources of data for aggregation.
  • Collaborate across all departments in Operations to support existing processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate and partner with both onshore and offshore partners across data operations.
  • Work as part of the core data team, providing accountable and transparent profiles, data and reporting.
  • Other projects as assigned.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by maintaining work related certifications.
  • Act as a steward of Moody’s culture by acting as a role model, and enforcing policies, and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of business experience
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Previous experience in a research or data entry position a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and persistence in problem solving.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Windows based software (Excel, Access, Word, etc.).
  • Exposure to the financial industry, banking and/or capital markets is a plus.


For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $49,500 - $52,800, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
