Role Overview:

· Lead a team of bioinformaticians and data scientists while collaborating closely with lab scientists and engineers to build and maintain complex NGS pipelines

· Coordinate and encourage standardized coding best practices, lead and collaborate with team members on code reviews

· Develop algorithms and computational infrastructure for gene-editing applications, such as off-target analysis, guide selection, and determining editing outcomes

Skills:

· PhD and seasoned experience in Bioinformatics

· At least six years of closely related bioinformatics industry experience with at least two years experience in a leadership capacity

· Expert level proficiency in Python and experience or a strong interest in working with cloud computing systems (e.g. AWS)
