Floral Designer

We are seeking for passionate individuals about flowers and skilled in the art of floral design! As a Floral Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in creating breathtaking arrangements for a diverse range of events, including weddings and corporate functions. Your creativity and dedication to excellence will ensure that each design contributes to beautiful and memorable moments for our clients. Effective communication and collaboration with team members are essential aspects of this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of flower types and varieties to create breathtaking designs.
• Demonstrate expertise in proper flower processing and care techniques to ensure longevity and freshness.
• Design a diverse range of event floral arrangements, including centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and large installations like chuppahs and arches.
• Apply strong knowledge of floral design mechanics to execute intricate arrangements with precision.
• Read and interpret floral recipes accurately to bring client's visions to life.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting 15-25 lbs., carrying buckets of water, and moving large pieces in and out of the cooler.
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Showcase your creative problem-solving abilities to overcome design challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Uphold studio safety standards and demonstrate proper tool usage to maintain a secure working environment.
• Assist with studio upkeep tasks, including sweeping, cleaning buckets, and organizing materials.
  
  

Qualified Candidates For This Position Must

• Possess experience in floral design or related field preferred.
• Possess strong knowledge of flower types, varieties, and design principles.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet event schedules.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
