If you would like to grow with us, then apply to be a part of our team.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGreets customers with a positive and friendly attitudeEnters orders into POS system, uses suggestive selling of food products to customers, receives payment (cash and credit card), makes change and maintains cash drawerPresents orders to guests and ensures accuracy of orderAssists with ordering filling as neededReads monitor to identify products that need to be preparedNotifies cook of special orders, shortages and needsOther general duties include: minor food preparation, stocking of supplies, cleaning of dining room tables and restrooms, sweeping, mopping, discarding of trash and filling ice binsSets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment as neededCommunicates with customers, team members and managers in a positive and professional mannerMaintains cleanliness on the service counter and order presentation counterMaintains cleanliness, organization, and rotation of the display coolerObserves health and sanitation guidelines and follows established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health & safety protocols. Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and takes ownership of areaLooks for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic mannerOther duties as assignedMust be willing to work variable schedules. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat from cooking equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
