Origin’s fundraising efforts are perpetually active and the company is currently raising three funds that each employ a distinct strategy and risk/return profile within the Class A multifamily space. Headquartered in a central and amenitized downtown location of Chicago, Origin has 58 employees today and is seeking to continue its rapid pace of growth.

This Hire & This Opportunity

Orbis Talent Partners has been retained to place a best-in-class and highly accomplished Head of Investor Relations to oversee and lead the investor relations & capital raising team for Origin Investments. This hire will be responsible for scaling and optimizing client service operations, building best-in-class sales force processes, and bringing strong leadership to all things LP-related. This hire will also be responsible for supporting fundraising initiatives and identifying, targeting and delivering UHNW individuals, Family Offices, and RIAs.

Qualifications

• Has 10+ years of experience in a senior real estate industry dedicated client-facing role (which means sales, fundraising, client management, investor relations)
• Has experience across real estate industry sales/fundraising (this is important for credibility in building/leading/shaping/managing a winning sales effort)
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team – a player/coach but skews more coach than player
• Brings a high level of sophistication, maturity, experience, and credibility around all things client service and client operation and brings these best practices to Origin
• Ideally based in Chicago, Charlotte, Nashville, Dallas, Denver or easily moveable to one of these cities.
