Information Technology Audit Manager

This Chicago company is a leader in manufacturing environmentally sustainable products. They have grown exponentially over the past 20 years. They have locations across the US, with most of their back-office staff based downtown. This new role seeks to bring the IT Audit function in-house and build that team out. You will work directly for the head of Audit and with the various IT teams to handle the annual audit and risk assessments. The right person will have experience working for a Big 4 or large accounting firm as an external IT auditor and ideally at least 1 job internally in IT audit for a public company. You need at least 6 years of experience and the ability to work in a hybrid capacity downtown.

Requirements:

• 6+ years in IT audit, focusing on cybersecurity risk assessments, SOX and ITGC.
• Experience working for Big-4 or other large Audit and IT consulting firms.
• Experience creating policies based on frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or COBIT
• Experience with internal Risk Assessment and 3rd Party risk assessments.
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, or similar are strongly preferred.

Desired Characteristics and Traits:

• Experience with ERP systems and IT infrastructure within a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.

• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across the organization.
