Expectations of the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Integration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for migrating existing SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) jobs to .NET, setting up new automation jobs, and generating business promotional coupons. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to meet business needs.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migration of SSIS Jobs to .NET:
  • Analyze existing SSIS packages and workflows to understand their functionality.
  • Design and implement equivalent functionality using .NET technologies.
  • Optimize performance and reliability of the migrated solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the migration.
  • Setup of New Automation Jobs:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document automation requirements.
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using .NET and other relevant technologies.
  • Monitor and maintain automation jobs to ensure they run efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation jobs.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all integrations adhere to security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement best practices for data encryption and decryption.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Continuously monitor integration performance and implement optimizations as needed.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Generation of Business Promotional Coupons:
  • Develop and maintain systems for generating and distributing business promotional coupons.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of coupon generation processes.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to understand promotional needs and integrate coupon generation into campaigns.
  • Track and report on the usage and effectiveness of promotional coupons.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with other engineers, developers, and IT professionals to ensure seamless integration and automation.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
  • Provide documentation and training to users as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in migrating SSIS jobs to .NET.
  • Strong programming skills in .NET (C#, ASP.NET).
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and database management.
  • Familiarity with file transfer protocols (e.g., FTP, SFTP).
  • Knowledge of file encryption and decryption best practices.
  • Familiarity with coupon generation systems and promotional strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
