Versar Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Physical Security Systems Integration Manager based out of the Washington, DC Metro area to support a portfolio of government customers. The role reports to the Director of Operations and will interface with Program and Project Managers and lead as a subject matter expert. This position requires 25% travel.


CORE RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Provide physical security system integration subject matter expertise and thought leadership. Represent Versar as subject matter expert within the physical security enterprise space.
  • Responsible for staffing, developing, and managing the physical security systems integration department’s resources. Must consistently maintain the department’s overall performance as necessary to successfully support customer satisfaction, business initiatives, and financial goals.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators as they pertain to job performance, quality, and standards compliance. Lead the group towards meeting or exceeding Versar’s standards for operational excellence.
  • Perform staff capacity planning as required to support secured and forecasted project pipelines. Support ad hoc assignments and surge projects as tasked by the Group Manager.
  • Establish and maintain system integration standards, processes, and workflows as necessary to configure, implement, and maintain complex integrated physical security systems within federal government and DoD Enterprise host environments.
  • Develop, lead, and manage the resources responsible for maintaining system uptimes 24/7/365. Ensure the department performs configuration management and system patching as required by contract and IT governance requirements. Lead the support of Cyber remediation and IT governance tasking and ad hoc directives as necessary to maintain authorities to operate (ATOs).
  • Maintain an awareness of new and emerging technologies and requirements as they pertain to physical security systems and their accompanying IT infrastructure.
  • Provide Tier 2 support and expertise to Versar’s service teams as required.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field plus 10 years of relatable experience OR 14+ years of relatable experience in the physical security systems industry.
  • Proficiency and fluency in the English language required. Must be able to independently develop and maintain formal training documentation, business workflows, department schedules, system configuration standards, process frameworks, and documentation artifacts.
  • Ten years demonstrated experience integrating physical security systems within mission critical environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network engineering and protocols as required to successfully deploy integrated access control and digital video solutions within Enterprise WAN environments (VLANs, VPNs, IP Schema, etc.)
  • Four years of project management or managerial experience directing and leading teams of ten or more remote resources. Demonstrated experience performing staff capacity planning and human resource management.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership and written technical input towards the development of complex engineering packages and Enterprise architectures (e.g., Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, Complex on-premises integrated systems).
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining Enterprise class Lenel OnGuard, Hirsch, and Software House access control solutions and Milestone, Bosch, Genetec digital video systems desired. Expert level certifications in one of more of these products required.
  • Must be able to provide Tier 2 systems maintenance support outside of normal working hours.
  • Experience performing cyber remediations, security incident responses, routine maintenance, and software updates/patching to mission critical production systems within the physical security space.
  • Willingness to travel to remote jobsites may be required (25% Travel Expected).
  • Ability to perform physical duties as necessary to stage, configure, and ship/transport IT commodities (servers/workstations/network switches).
  • Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a top-secret clearance and position of public trust (Active Top Secret Preferred).
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • After-hours work may be necessary to support system uptime requirements and service emergencies.
  • Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
  • Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
  • Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by start date.
