Responsibilities
- Supporting multiple litigation attorneys and paralegals.
- E-filing documents with Federal and State courts.
- Drafting, editing and formatting correspondence, briefs, pleadings, TOA’s, TOC’s and other legal documents.
- Drafting caption pages and shells for discovery and motions.
- Reviewing court websites for Local Court Rules.
- Calendaring and maintaining files.
- Scheduling depositions.
- Entering check requests, expense reports and attorney’s timesheets.
- Assisting with catering requests and travel as needed for trials.
Qualifications
● Candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience
● Position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects calmly and confidently in a friendly, fast-paced team environment
● Must be detail oriented and have good word-processing skills
● Experience should include electronic court filing, motion practice, and cite-checking (fact and legal), and familiarity with all aspects of discovery
● Computer skills should include Microsoft Office Suite and basic document processing
