Barnes & Thornburg LLP seeks an experienced patent paralegal to support the Chicago Office.

Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage client patent portfolios, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and review documents for patent prosecution and filings
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff to maintain intellectual property portfolios
- Interface with USPTO, foreign patent offices, and outside counsel as necessary
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding patent inquiries
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate
- 3+ years' experience as a patent paralegal
- Strong understanding of patent laws, regulations, and procedures
- Proficiency in USPTO electronic filing systems
- Comprehensive understanding of patent law and USPTO filing procedures
- Strong client service orientation and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with trademarks a plus
