Interaction Designer

Genesis10 and our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking an Interaction Designer. This is a 2 month + contract and hybrid remote position located in Mountain View, CA.

Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule on Tues-Thurs in the office and Monday & Friday remotely.

Summary:

• Seeking an interaction Designer.
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Help to define the user model and user interface for new and existing client products and features, with an emphasis on enterprise user experience design work, for example Business Portals, B2B tools, etc.
• Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Gauge the usability of new and existing products and making constructive suggestions for change.
  
  

Requirements:

• Solid academic background in human-computer interaction or related field.
• Expert knowledge and experience with designing user interface mockups, flows, and design components in Figma.
• Strong visual design sense. Proactive / self-starter with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be highly responsive to feedback from multiple UX, Engineer, and Product Manager partners with a drive to seek out feedback for the purpose of iterating & exploring multiple design concepts/directions.
• Need to have expert ability to weigh pros/cons of different directions and articulate clearly the tradeoffs to form strong design point of view, grounded in stakeholder feedback, users insights, and best UX practices.
• Portfolio included on resume.
• Years of experience required: 7 years.
• Figma user interface design for UI mockups & user flows. Desire to gather and consider feedback from many different perspectives.
• Clear communication and ability to articulate UX design options & tradeoffs.
• Education Bachelors in a design related field.
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
  
  

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces.
• Lightweight figma prototyping experience.
• Master's degree a plus.
  
  

Pay rate range: $70.95 - $77.26 hourly
