Job Description: The Internet Sales Director at Castle Rock CDJR will be responsible for overseeing and maximizing sales opportunities generated through online channels. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing and sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Conversion:
Develop and implement strategies to generate leads through various online channels, including the dealership website, social media platforms, and third-party automotive websites.
Optimize lead conversion processes to ensure a high rate of sales closure.
Monitor and analyze lead data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Team Leadership and Training:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of internet sales representatives.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to improve sales performance and customer service skills.
Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and track progress towards targets.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
Implement and maintain a CRM system to effectively manage customer interactions and follow-up activities.
Ensure timely and personalized responses to customer inquiries and follow-up communications.
Utilize CRM data to develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotions.
Digital Marketing Strategy:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic to the dealership website and increase online visibility.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and e-commerce.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
Monitor key performance metrics related to internet sales, including lead volume, conversion rates, and revenue.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in automotive sales, preferably in an internet sales or e-commerce role.
Proven track record of success in generating leads and driving sales through online channels.
