A managed service provider is looking for a Junior Project Manager to help with a government project for one of their clients based in San Diego. This individual will be tasks helping manage implementation of an important system. This will involve working with stakeholders, researching possible solutions, analyzing requirements, estimating cost, and planning the actual implementation.
This individual needs to live within a two hour proximity of San Diego although a lot of the work can be done remotely.
Contract Duration: 6 months before conversion
Required Skills & Experience
1+ years of Project Management experience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
Desired Skills & Experience
Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) and transportation management systems is a plus.
