Merchandising Assistant

We are looking for a hungry and self-directed candidate interested in fashion/retail to join our Merchandising team as a Merchandising Assistant. The ideal candidate has some professional work experience, is organized and reliable, and is interested in deepening their understanding of fashion and retail. As our Merchandising Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our Merchandising Directors with sourcing and creating inventory for our marketplace and liaising between internal and external stakeholders. Ghost is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

This role is 100% onsite at our Beverly Hills location

About The Role

• Manage daily Merchandising responsibilities, including building, editing and maintaining assortment sheets and presentation materials.
• Relay product knowledge and assortment information to Sales teams.
• Partner and communicate with cross functional teams including sales, product, logistics and customer success.
• Develop and maintain Supplier/Brand profiles for all accounts.
• Manage the organization of samples for Merchandising and cross-functional teams
• Create and maintain Merchandising Calendar, category map and internal trackers.
• Coordinate communication with off-shore Merchandising team.
  
  

About You

• Have a general understanding of the Apparel/Retail industry with a passion to learn and grow in the field. Off-price experience is a plus.
• Be a self-starter who can prioritize and execute without micro-management.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone conversations and cold-calling.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment.
• Data-driven with an ability to analyze and extrapolate conclusions from large data sets.
• Be proficient in Google Sheets (or excel)

In addition to a competitive base salary, equity, and a range of benefits, we offer a dynamic work environment that fosters growth and collaboration. The base salary range for this role is $60,000-65,000 (OTE of $120,000), based on candidate-specific factors including experience, skillset, and location. This is an in-office role based in Los Angeles, CA.
