Position Summary

Order Management Associates are responsible for accurate data preparation and input associated with the processing of customer orders and the resolution of order processing issues.

Essential Functions

  • Ability to work within a team structure, while working independently.
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to new software programs to support department initiatives and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
  • Review orders for accuracy and address discrepancies with the sales team as required to ensure timely and accurately order processing.
  • Receive and process order transmissions utilizing Electronic Data Interchange system (EDI).
  • Business-to-Business (B2B) sales order processing and verification.
  • Set up and entry of wholesale and retail price tables as applicable.
  • Resolve data issues as they relate to sales order changes, pricing discrepancies, and shipping methods.
  • Achieve and maintain individual and group goals provided by management to ensure department and company initiatives are met.
  • Efficiency in verification of order entry.
  • Maintain reports to ensure orders continue to flow through the process in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Generate and review open order reports to ensure order discrepancies are identified and addressed in the initial stages of the process to ensure on-time delivery performance goals are consistently met.
  • Manage tasks within CRM
  • Complete other administrative tasks as related to customer account information and order entry.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid position generally in office three (3) days per week, and remote from home two (2) days per week

Required Experience

  • Service Orientated - Customer comes first
  • Ability to clearly communicate
  • Time Management skills with the ability to prioritize work
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Accurate keyboard skills with proven ability to enter data at a rate exceeding 60 wpm.
  • High school graduate reading and math skills
