Clean and prepare surfaces, prepare paint, maintain clean work area and equipment.
Apply paint to surface of piping, components, and structural steel using the most appropriate method within the requirements of the customer
Smooths surfaces using most appropriate sandblasting method with the requirements of the customer
Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results
Follow all company filed safety procedures and protocols
Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma preferred
One-year paint related experience preferred
Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules, must be willing to work overtime
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Work in a team atmosphere
Must be capable of physical duties in an outdoor environment - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
