Patient Care Coordinator/Insurance Coordinator

Job Description

Willow Lake Dental is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator/Insurance Coordinator for our growing practice in Vadnais Heights. We are located just north of where 35E and 694 meet. We are easily reached from throughout the Twin Cities.

Willow Lake Dental is the general dental practice of Tracy St Dennis, DDS. We are in our seventh year of a startup and continue to grow! Dr. Tracy is a 2008 graduate of the University of MN-School of Dentistry. Our office is fast paced, yet laid back. We strive to provide a professional team environment that people will want to be a part of.

This role will be the first point of contact for patients. We are looking for someone who is an energetic team player with a positive attitude. We are a new office with state-of-the-art equipment. Computer proficiency is a must as we are a fully digital office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable learning new computer systems and helping us to refine our processes.

Experienced candidates and new grads are encouraged to apply, we will train the right candidate!

We are looking for full time and part time candidates, we will train the right person!

Duties:

Opening and closing the office

Greeting patients and collecting all needed information and documents

Verifying and processing insurance claims

Scheduling appointments

Processing payments

Answering phones and providing general customer service

Maintaining a clean and neat patient waiting area

Desired Skills:

CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to work with office equipment such as scanners, copiers, fax and computer

Knowledge of dental insurance or ability to learn

Experience working with Open Dental software a plus
