Piping Designer, with (current) AutoCAD 3D Plant Design experience, capable of producing modeled deliverables that are safe, free of errors, and with minimal supervision.
Individual should have experience designing piping within the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical industries.
Must be capable of interpreting the requirements of Piping Material Specifications and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, as well as have a familiarity with industry codes and standards.
Skills Required
Ability to model piping and equipment with AutoCAD Plant 3D software
Determine appropriate pipe support types and required locations
Experience with Model Review software, preferably Navisworks software
Familiar with Laser Scan and model combinations
Development of General Equipment Arrangements
Experience Required
10+ years or of Piping Design within Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical industries.
3+ years of AutoCAD Plant 3D (Recent)
Experience Preferred
Associates degree in Drafting Program or equivalent technical certification
