Founded by Rich Bello, the co-founder and COO of Blue Ridge Capital, Rich’s aim is to leverage his experience working with top Hedge Fund Executives to achieve peak performance.

Arootah services include:

Providing expert advisors in key operational areas to emerging/established Investment firms

Coaching direct-to-consumer (executive and career coaching)

Advising clients with Capital Introduction and Raising for Emerging Managers

Investing in a portfolio of public and private companies that make a positive impact

Building SaaS applications for both enterprise and consumer use

Providing Talent Acquisition and Development services to the financial industry

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced President to supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of Arootah’s Hedge Fund and Family Office Advisory Business. You will report directly to the Founder of Arootah.

To succeed as a President you must be a prudent manager and an inspiring leader. The ideal candidate will have a business mindset and will be able to see the “big picture” in a variety of settings with a growing firm.

The goal is to drive the firm’s development and guide it towards long-term success.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Founder in all aspects of the business
  • Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with our mission
  • Provide inspired leadership firm-wide upholding its culture
  • Oversee the development of various SaaS products and GTM strategies
  • Develop and implement operational policies and strategic plans
  • Manage and build external relationships
  • Identify opportunities for acquisitions and income generation
  • Ensure appropriate tools / systems are in place to conduct business
  • Oversee and develop internal controls and management systems
  • Manage all new projects so that initiatives are well researched, and proper decisions are made
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and implementing risk management strategies
  • Professional represent the firm at networking events
  • Negotiate or approve agreements and contracts
  • Establish and oversee the development of a Multi Family office
  • Enforce adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines
  • Establish and work with the Arootah Capital Advisory team
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
  • Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company




Qualifications

  • Proven experience  in a senior managerial position within a Hedge Fund or Service Provider
  • Advanced financial markets acumen to make informed decisions
  • Experience with Enterprise Level SaaS Products
  • Developed and implemented a clear, long-term vision for a firm
  • Advanced and clear communication style with both private and public forums
  • Experienced in competitive analysis
  • Experienced in developing profitable strategies and proven execution of those strategies
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as sales, marketing, public relations, finance etc
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • MBA in business administration or relevant field
  • CPA and/or CFA is a plus

The estimated base salary for this role is $200,000 – $300,000 with additional incentives including bonus and equity.
