Overview of Role: The Quality Assurance Engineer with focus on manual testing of the product
Duties:
Design and create test scripts to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for implementation
Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen(s) or content
Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope/delivery dates.
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Required Skills:
Strong Web and console application testing skills
An understanding of software QA Methodologies, tools and processes
Software and database architecture, software development fundamentals, and software debugging
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An associate or bachelor's degree
