We are seeking an energetic, analytical, and self-driven individual to join our Development team to help direct our Internal Site Selection and Real Estate needs, and in fulfilling Heartland Dental’s company goals. As a Real Estate Intern, you will help analyze and direct Heartland Dental’s new site selection and real estate office placement within our fast-growing company! You will interact within important functions such as Site Selection, Consumer Intelligence Technology, Real Estate Lifecycle Software, office footprint, and help facilitate deal flow with key internal and external stakeholders. As an Real Estate Intern, you will partner with fellow Development team members and other departments alike in rapidly expanding Heartland Dental’s growing footprint.

To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work on a team with Real Estate Managers, Brokers, Regional Operational Managers, reporting to the Internal Site Analyst Supervisor.
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
Assists the Real Estate team in the departmental goal of opening 100+ new Denovo’s in 2022 forward
Completes Site Analyses in preparation for the weekly Executive REC meetings
Maintains and oversees the Real Estate inbox channel, and is the main point of contact for all external clients, brokers, developers, etc.
Internal stakeholder overseeing our Real Estate Lifecycle Software, containing each Heartland Dental office, Office characteristics, and reporting mechanisms
Creates, Distributes and scales all Google Mapping projects - Internal and Field.
Assists the Site Selection team with the long-term Development Strategy Planning
Collaborate with the Heartland Dental Marketing department and Buxton/External Partners to improve the new patient regression tool.
Gain deep understanding of market Territories and establish target towns, areas, and intersections for future growth.
Minimum Requirements:
Pursuing degree in Real Estate, Business Management, or similar field
Practical and working knowledge of Business concepts
Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
