In this position, you will oversee health and safety at multiple waste hauling divisions. The successful candidate will have a degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a route-based service company.
Key responsibilities include:
Promoting company values
Adhering to policies
Leading incident investigations
Managing risk through workshops and audits
Developing safety management systems
Ensuring compliance
Providing training.
This position involves working closely with management and staff to foster a safe work environment, conducting audits, managing workplace injuries, and ensuring training compliance. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential.
