Position Overview

Regional Service Manager-Central Territory-Home Base, Chicago,


Under the supervision of the VP, Network Services and the support of the Operations leads, the Regional Service Manager (RSM) develops plans and strategies for territory responsibilities, including installations and network upgrades, while providing regional field-based support for the ambassadors and technicians. The Regional Service Manager is fully responsible for the implementation and execution of upgrade and install campaigns, operational practices, compliance and management of the Regional Service Team, inclusive of all Ambassadors and Technicians within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks and monitors daily activity for all ambassador and technician activities
  • Must be able to manage a remote workforce
  • Provides VP, Network Services & Operations Leads with weekly activities vs. goals
  • Compiles ambassador and technician activities and reports for VP, Network Services
  • Confers with VP, Network Services &senior management to formulate plans for meeting objectives and improving outcomes
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, management, development, and retention of the Regional Field Service Team
  • Conducts formal coaching sessions on an ongoing basis that highlight developmental needs and recognizes individual performance
  • Staff performance management-measures individual performance against key objectives
  • Prepares forecasts for performance of team
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Skills/Experience

  • 3-5 years sales and/or management experience (preferable in healthcare marketing or pharmaceutical industry)
  • Able to build and lead a successful team in an entrepreneurial business
  • Ability to meet goals, prioritizing as necessary, in a dynamic environment
  • Able to monitor,coach and mentor staff on a daily basis
  • Lead by example,may be required to demonstrate techniques to staff
  • Good listening and relationship building skills
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • Superior communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and effectively partner with team members
  • Excellent negotiation skills- ability to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties
  • Collaborative,driven, positive attitude
  • At least 50% travel

Physical Requirements, Work Environment and Travel:

Ability to frequently sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision & depth perception.

Ability to perform moderate lifting, 15-30 pounds.

The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes as well as possible adverse weather conditions when traveling to clients and potential clients.

This position requires 50% travel within the assigned territory
