Sales Operations Data Analyst

The Sales Analyst will monitor hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and annual performance metrics for inside sales pipeline reporting. Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Sheets, Power-BI or comparable experience required. Must be able to write formulas within Google sheets and Salesforce reports or be familiar with formula writing in some capacity. Will provide insights gleaned from data and communicate clearly and efficiently, allowing sales management to take immediate action intra-day or strategically over time.

Responsibilities

  • Uplevels trends among key KPIs by lead source to leadership.
  • Analyzes daily, weekly, and monthly sales funnel and pipeline trends on appointments set, show rate, hold rate, setter source of appointments, new revenue per appointment, and total revenue on a Lead Source level and Sales Team level.
  • Monitors expected revenue achievement daily, weekly, and monthly as compared to the sales forecast.
  • Quarterly evaluates expected revenue goals for seasonality.
  • SDR dialer analysis: leads distributed, schedule rate by lead source and list, test list evaluations, performance and prioritization
  • Provides insights and early warnings on changes in our appointment or revenue makeup.
  • Attends weekly marketing / sales meetings to provide data analysis and/or receive reporting requests.
  • Create reports and dashboards in Salesforce as needed.
  • Provide technical requirements for any additional Power-BI reports needed for analysis tasks.
  • Look for new hire trends on revenue per rep by new hire reps, tenured reps under $40K, and tenured reps over $40K per commission period.
  • Monitors Guided Selling usage and adoption across the sales floor.
  • Ongoing ad hoc analysis
  • Data validation

Qualifications And Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from complex datasets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience working with Salesforce, Google Sheets, and Power BI is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to write formulas within Google Sheets and Salesforce reports, or familiarity with formula writing in other platforms with basic SQL knowledge.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey insights and recommendations derived from data analysis to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and IT departments.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales operations, data analysis, or a related field is advantageous.
