Description: Immediate need for a Senior-level Aviation Group Director for LA airport projects. This will be for the Figueroa Street office. Seeking a Senior Architect who is passionate about aviation and transit design. Each project is viewed as an opportunity to create something unique. The Group Director will be responsible for more than twenty reports.
Responsibilities
Direct and supervise a professional or technical location and specific team (such as Aviation, Transit, or Sports).
Support managing principals with implementation of practice-wide initiatives in their locations across all markets.
Coordinate project priorities, schedules and assignments.
Develop and monitor the group’s operating budget.
Partners with or acts as Project Manager to ensure delivery on every project.
Collaborates with local office leadership on work sharing and office-wide initiatives.
Job Requirements:
15 + years of relevant experience
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Strong organizational abilities
Ability to successfully manage client relationships and deliver projects.
Willingness to mentor and develop others.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering, or related field
Prefer a license and a Master’s Degree but not at all required.
