Senior Product Manager - Footwear Creation Center Portland

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION

  • Be the consumer and sport expert for the Sportswear category
  • Influence and execute the category direction
  • Collaborate with all necessary functions to deliver the category business objectives
  • Create ranges within the category from both an image and commercial point of view

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence and implement strategic category direction, proactively set range direction in close collaboration with Category Director
  • Show full understanding and drive the product creation process whilst managing all tasks within the given time frames
  • High level of product expertise to create industry leading footwear
  • Independently manage creation projects ranging from commercial footwear to limited release footwear from brief to product launch
  • Be a competent partner for product discussions with markets and retailers
  • Become a role model for other team members in regards to product creation process
  • Be the go to person for consumer insights and knowledge
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with cross-functional teams and with interlinked departments to enable an efficient SMU product creation process, ensure product excellence
  • Prepare and present ranges and business related topecs - with respective audience in mind - by usin relevant structure and content
  • Proactively analyze business, draw conclusions and act upon; drive profitability and efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of product information systems and the interlinking functions - clarid on respective timelines
  • Collaborate and find solutions with cross functional partners across local and global teams to drive the contribution to the company
  • Identify new business opportunities to drive innovation and/or commerciality
  • Show leadership through living the brand values
  • Identify projects to optimize category performance; work independently and steer to conclusion

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree, preferably in marketing/business/textile/fashion
  • Minimum of 5 years Product Marketing experience with APP, FTW or ACC background
  • Experience in merch or sales is helpful
  • Fluent in English
  • PC skills (MS Office programs)
