(Senior) Research Associate, iPSC / Neural Cell Culture

An opportunity is available for a six month contract role of (Senior) Research Associate focusing on iPSC cell culture, especially with neural differentiation work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take a hands-on role in planning and executing molecular and cell biological assays, from data collection, data analysis to sharing results with the internal team.
• Culturing and maintaining mammalian cell lines.
• Interfacing on a regular basis with lead scientific staff to present, organize, coordinate, and execute experimental work.
• Foster collaboration with internal groups and ensure the lab space remains organized to our standards of excellence.

Skills and Requirements:

• BS Degree with 5 + years or Master's degree with 3+ years of hands on experience in life science research.
• Good knowledge in at least one of the following fields: Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or Aging.
• Hands-on experience in lab research techniques including DNA/RNA/protein extraction, qPCR, western blot, Flow Cytometry, Confocal microscopy, and immunofluorescence staining.
• Hands-on experience with iPSC, especially with neural differentiation work.
• Experience with organoid handling.
