Senior Vice President of Sales

Requirements:

  • 15 years of experience in software/technology sales with expertise selling to SMB
  • Experience overseeing a division between 150M-250M in revenue
  • Currently operating and maintaining the responsibilities at the level of VP or SVP
  • Led sales strategy in a multi-product portfolio with complex offerings
  • Previously held P&L responsibility, developed business plans, and comfortable presenting to Executives
  • Previous M&A experience - working to integrate teams and solutions into the portfolio
  • Previously worked in a privately held entity
  • Very analytical and proficient with CRM tools (ex: Salesforce) to gain business insights and develop strategy
  • High sense of urgency with ability to motivate team and hold accountable to supersede targets
  • Must be able to work hybrid schedule 2-3 days in Southlake, TX


Pluses:

  • Previous experience working in or adjacent to the Manufacturing industry
  • Previous knowledge or experience with ERP platforms


Day to Day:

The SVP of Sales will report to the division President and be responsible for selling products and services by implementing sales plans and supervising sales staff. Critical functions of the role include Achieving Sales Goals, Leading and Developing the Team, Exceeding Expectations Related to Strategic Value Drivers, Developing Annual Business Plans, Productively Contributing to the Divisional Leadership Team, Integrating Acquisitions, and Driving the Business Based on Data Analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and prioritizes strategic growth drivers and ensures Sales team exceeds associated bookings targets
  • Understands performance dynamics across a large solution portfolio, and drives actions based on relative need
  • Develops annual business plan in collaboration with Product Management and Marketing
  • Demonstrates strong grasp of team and business performance via data analytics, and takes decisive action to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly booking streams
  • Establishes sales objectives by developing annual sales quotas for sales reps and territories
  • Represent the company to clients, investors, and business partners and build credibility within the marketplace
  • Create a positive and open culture where team members can develop their potential and feel important as contributors to the ongoing development of a dynamic, customer focused and growing organization
  • Analyze workflow, metrics for problem areas and processes and recommend improvements or solutions to make us more efficient to expand globally
