Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Ship-driving for deploying online builds.
  • Software and hardware issues.
  • Mechanisms / scripts to make site reliability tasks more efficient.
  • New components with understanding of service interdependencies and limitations.
  • Knowledge and is curious to learn more about performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
  • Effectively with product development and engineering teams.
  • Must be self-driven, curious to learn, proactive, and result oriented.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in cloud infrastructure management and DevOps.
  • In one and/or familiarity with multiple programming / scripting languages, such as Python, Batch, PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles, patterns, and practices, and agile methodologies.
  • With managing infrastructure and troubleshooting with cloud platforms and services, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Comfortable in operations with Virtual machines and containers.
  • Communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • To work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • For learning new skills and technologies and sharing them with others.
