We are looking for a Software Engineer. You will plan, conduct, and coordinate testing activities for software applications. It will include tracking and analyzing requirements, and functional and technical specifications. You will also design, write, and execute test cases for both manual and automated software testing. The involved applications are primarily user-centric applications involving extensive UI components/use cases and integrations with other applications.
This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) role, this is a remote role in the US.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
Analyzing functional and interface specifications for testing implementation
Writing detailed, step-by-step test procedures for software applications functions, security, and interfaces
Designing, writing, and executing test cases for both manual and automated software testing
Defect tracking, reporting, and resolution
Working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve a shared vision
Utilize DOORS for requirements tracking and testing traceability
Leveraging Agile/Scrum practices, including the use of Jira
Developing and leading user training
Leverage your understanding of Cost Account Manager (CAM) areas/responsibilities
Utilize your Program/Project management skills using financial, EVM, proposal, contract, and scheduling systems
Requirements
5 years experience analyzing functional and interface specifications for testing implementation
7 years of experience writing detailed, step-by-step test procedures for software applications functions, security, and interfaces
7 years experience designing, writing, and executing test cases for both manual and automated software testing
3 years experience in defect tracking, reporting, and resolution
5 years experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve a shared vision
2 years experience with DOORS for requirements tracking and testing traceability
3 years experience with Agile/Scrum practices, including use of Jira
1-year experience developing and leading user training
Bachelor’s Degree.
