Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Australia (Remote) to support categories such as Technology, Marketing, Product, BPO, and Professional Services (HR, Finance, Consulting). This role is perfect for an experienced professional who excels in strategic sourcing and category leadership. You will focus on enhancing insource-outsource programs and optimizing the source-to-pay process through system improvements and proactive partner engagement. Reporting to a Sourcing Lead within Procurement, you'll champion continuous improvement, manage relationships, and educate stakeholders on market trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead insource-outsource programs and guide RFXs, contract negotiations, and APAC procurement initiatives.
Manage selection, negotiation, and purchasing for large category groups and smaller suppliers.
Collaborate with Procurement and business leaders to implement effective category strategies.
Support strategic planning efforts by focusing on sourcing methodologies, contract negotiation, buying strategies, and risk mitigation.
Manage complex supplier relationships across the organization, anticipate future trends, and develop innovative solutions.
Lead and manage Important Category Supplier Relationship QBRs to ensure service delivery aligns with SLAs and performance indicators.
Foster collaboration and positively impact team success by modeling collaborative behaviors and championing company values.
Develop selection criteria, establish purchasing goals, allocate resources, and provide long-term category leadership.
Support partners across APAC including Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Depth of experience in source-to-contract and procure-to-pay practices.
Proficiency in procurement tools such as SCOUT, COUPA, Oracle, etc.
