Training Program Coordinator

: UBMD Primary Care is seeking a full-time Training Program Coordinator to manage the day-to-day administration of the Family Medicine residency program, Sports Medicine fellowship program and Addiction Medicine fellowship program. Will function as a liaison between the program director(s) and the hospital administrators and/or director of medical education, as well as other departments, divisions, residents, fellows and students. Will oversee the Training Program Administrator for the residency and global health programs. Provides administrative support for the program directors, associate program directors, residents and fellows. Manages recruitment process including review of applications, candidate selection, scheduling and assisting with match list. Manages the incoming resident and fellow process, as well as orientation procedures. Assists in the preparation for ACGME self-study, site visits, annual program evaluation, semi-annual milestones reporting, ACGME ADS annual update and/or internal/special reviews. Manages the evaluation process on residents, fellows, faculty and the program to ensure timely completion and efficacy of process. Assists with creating and maintaining the residency master schedule, visiting student schedules and the fellowship rotation schedule. Coordinates contract/visa process for residents and/or fellows. Will maintain resident and faculty databases, as well as documentation for board eligibility. Must be willing to travel to company sites, as well as local, state and national conferences.

Bachelor's degree, preferably in management, education or social science is preferred. Three (3) years of office management experience in an administrative or office management position, preferably in an academic healthcare setting. Supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making and prioritization skills required. Knowledge of international medical graduates, accreditations and regulatory issues helpful. Experience working with immigration matters helpful. Position will be located in downtown Buffalo with paid parking. A hybrid work setting can be considered after initial training period.

Salary range - $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful background check and drug screen. AA/EOE
