Position Description

The Transition Manager will facilitate the transition of Application Maintenance and Application Functions from an existing team/vendor to the client company. They will be responsible for all aspects of planning, execution, and delivery of the transition within established timeframes and parameters.

What You’ll Get To Do

  • the transition of services from RFP, Solution, implementation stage through effective project management prior to handover.
  • custom solutions (including End to end Transition plans, Knowledge Transfer plans for Agile and Waterfall projects, Resource ramp up plans, Cost estimation, Resource estimation, customer specific accelerators and customer specific value add features).
  • Transition Solutions involving multiple vendors and resources.
  • detailed Due-Diligence Assessments for applications.
  • strong client relationships to ensure smooth transition of services.
  • in Transition Solution presentation, Due Diligence, and Resourcing & Costing discussions.
  • up the Transition Methodology, Processes, and Templates.
  • Transition Solution and Execution pipeline with visibility up to Senior Leadership level.
  • the resolution of any major incidents (P1, P2) by working closely with applications teams, various resolver groups and business partners.
  • Transition Solution, Solution presentation, Scope Validation, Planning breakup, Phase Exit criteria and deliverables agreement with Customer teams
  • Transition Governance – Execute Transition, Establish Tracking mechanism and deliverables repository.
  • Risks and plan mitigation actions, Stakeholder reporting and milestones achievement tracking, final Sign off, CSAT and Lessons Learned.
  • communications to all stakeholders during any critical outages and major incidents.
  • KPIs derived from Metrics and design new KPIs relevant to Applications or Business.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • years of Transition Management experience with a specific focus on AM/AD transitions.
  • with large-scale transitions affecting organizations with at least 8,000 employees and transition teams with at least 75 members.
  • communication and presentation skills with high degree of comfort interfacing with senior leadership team and stakeholders.
  • financial management skills with knowledge of various components impacting engagement profitability and how to manage and optimize costs.
