As a UX Designer on the User Experience team, a typical day for you will include:

  • As a core member on a Product Development team, the UX Designer leads the effort to design a better way for our customers to utilize our products in their day-to-day.
  • Guide and educate product and engineering teams to have a higher understanding of UX best practices and user-driven outcomes.
  • Turn user insights to into actional user-centered outcomes.
  • Define the information architecture and interaction flows for our product and apps
  • Analyze usage data to align user and business objectives.
  • Present insights, user journeys and prototypes to key stakeholders and business partners.

(Required Qualifications)

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of creating user-focused digital experiences
    • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles.
    • Experience with Design Thinking, Lean UX, JTBD frameworks and their fit in a Product Development process.
    • Strong proficiency mapping out user journeys and building out high-level user flows.
    • Versatility– experience designing cross-platform experiences (web, iOS, Android) and technologies (chat, wearables, and Generative AI)
    • Experience with SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and all the other wonders that are part of the Microsoft 365 suite. Only being friendly acquaintances with Office365 is okay.
    • A portfolio that shows your thought process and ability to ship user-centered products
    • Bonus, if you have experience with Service Design, low-code/no code, and front-end development environments.
  • Skills:
    • Proactive problem solving; able to handle multiple complex projects and tasks.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Solid storytelling skills and comfortable presenting to key stakeholders and executives.
    • You know Figma, like you’re Besties
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Design, HCI, Cognitive Science or equivalent experience
  • Schedule / in-office requirements:
    • Must be DFW based, this is a hybrid working model. 3 days in Irving, Texas office, 2 days from home.
