VICE PRESIDENT, GLOBAL ALLIANCES & PARTNERS


Reporting to the CRO, the Vice President, Global Alliances and Partners primary role is the lead a team, strategy and execution of PROS Partner Network (PPN), an ecosystem of technology partners, systems integrators and advisory firms.


In the role, your team will be responsible for: managing the partner relationships; establishing joint go to market plans which drive sourced opportunities and bookings; coordinating between the direct sales channel and partner channel. You will establish the proper plan, metrics and processes to ensure the team is successful in accelerating PROS growth in the target global markets. We expect you to have a proven track record in start-up and ongoing management of a alliances and partner program. Our team is focused on accelerating PROS growth through the influence and sourcing of new opportunities via the partner channel. This position can be based anywhere in the US.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­VP OF ALLIANCES & PARTNERS -ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Develop and execute the next generation alliances and partner plan that is aligned with PROS overall strategy.
  • Create and execute joint go-to-market plans with Microsoft (PROS won 2017 Microsoft Partner of the year-Commercial ISV award) and other strategic partners that are aligned with PROS business goals.
  • Lead and coach your team to perform active evangelizing, pipeline development and selling activities.
  • Partner with sales to effectively co-sell qualified partner sourced and influenced opportunities
  • Collaborate internally with R&D, marketing, sales and others to develop and drive the overall partner strategy.
  • Maintain a current understanding of solution suite and marketplace trends and terminology


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for candidates who possess the rare combination of the following achievements, skills and behaviors:


  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in a similar partnerships role within the SaaS industry, with a strong track record of creating and executing successful alliance strategies
  • The role demands a leader with strong business acumen, a sales-focused approach, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures
  • A self-starter with a collaborative spirit, excellent presentation skills, and a determination to succeed, particularly in engaging in-person with customers and partners, will be the perfect fit for this high-impact, visible position
