Are you a seasoned leader in property management looking for your next career challenge? RealAmerica Companies is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Vice President of Property Management (VPoPM). As VPoPM, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our property management division, ensuring excellence across all facets of property performance, client relationships, and team management. You will work closely with our Asset Management Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property Analytics: Analyze property performance metrics and prepare comprehensive performance reports for the executive team, highlighting key metrics and improvement recommendations.
  • Strategies: Develop and implement lease-up strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income.
  • Property Operations and Policy: Oversee the creation and implementation of operational policies, ensuring best practices across all properties.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service and cost efficiency.
  • Property Performance: Develop comprehensive budgets, optimize revenue, and ensure compliance with financial targets and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for Area and Property Managers and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and client satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and guide management staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate on acquisitions and new construction projects, providing expertise on asset management and marketability.

Requirements

  • Education: College degree or equivalent work experience; certifications in Affordable Housing Compliance and Property Management Designation preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years managing diverse property portfolios with a strong focus on financial viability, personnel management, and strategic development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi) and Microsoft Office Suite. Must be self-directed with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage tasks, projects, and assignments concurrently
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 40% of the time to manage property operations and vendor relationships.
