Form follows formulation: in partnership with Salone del Mobile.Milano. Ahead of its official opening, our newest Milan store, located just steps from Piazza Cordusio, was transformed into a sensorial showpiece by Nicolas Schuybroek. The structure—which took its very form from regimented rows of Aesop product—welcomed visitors of the city’s fabled design exhibition from April 16 until April 21. Aesop’s Creative Director Aï Kato says of the project: ‘Form follows formulation is a holistic expression of Aesop. It brings together our reverence for design with our desire to elevate mundane acts such as hand washing or moisturising into something exceptional, and even fun. Most importantly it is a celebration of what has sustained and inspired us for thirty-eight years: our product.’ As ever, materials will be thoughtfully repurposed for future installations. Definitely, this unique cosmetic brand develops an holistic approach to beauty —where pampering the spirit is as important as pampering the epidermis.

After sending a letter to the Arab League with information helping the boycott, they paid a $1.4m fine and issued an apology, before fostering a new relationship with Israel, with heavy investment and even operating a factory in Occupied Palestine. #BoycottAesop
