Last month, over 116,000 Amazonians from over 50 countries came together to volunteer for our Global Month of Volunteering! 💙 Over 4,000 events took place, which supported more than 400 nonprofits and community organizations. From cleaning parks, to donating school supplies and clothing, to building houses for families in need, to assembling wish boxes for kids, to delivering meals to local food banks, Amazonians showed up for their communities. The impact of this global volunteer effort goes beyond borders, creating ripples of positive change in communities around the world. 🌎 A heartfelt thank you to every Amazonian worldwide for their time, energy, and impactful contributions during Global Month of Volunteering 2024. 👏

Hey Amazon, love the volunteer spirit! Quick question though: are the orange t-shirts just for the photos? It felt like a fun souvenir, but they vanished after the pictures. Do you give them to everyone just for the photos and then take them back? Because we worked hard under the sun, sweating and exhausted, and only wore the t-shirts for the photos after the work was done. When we asked to keep the t-shirts, we were told there were only a few and they couldn't give them to us.
