Customers have little patience when it comes to paying for goods in store or online, with our recent research finding that 42% of shoppers wouldn’t return to a retailer with a slow checkout process. The payment experience is playing an increasingly important role in incentivising customers to return to shops as well as ecommerce sites. This means it’s crucial that retailers take every step they can to innovate and upgrade their in-store payments experience, no matter how big or small. Open Banking is a tool on the side of all merchants. Every innovation is helping retailers reduce queue times and make the shopping experience more seamless for its customers.
