Today, I had a meeting with our BYOU Business mentor Priscilla van Rijn , She is helping our providers on the platform with their marketing and business development. Today, we spoke about marketing for the overall BYOU platform and how we can help our providers much better! Some of our key strategies include: Partnerships Spotlights Masterclasses Courses Social media Affiliate programs Much more! As a marketplace founder, I always struggle with the fact that we cannot force our users on the platform to book specific providers. We can promote specific providers through various spotlight features and marketing campaigns, but in the end, it is the customer’s choice. I’m wondering how my fellow marketplace founders are handling this? #askforafriend

1wThe development of my private practice might not count as a "marketplace founder," but I continue to have faith that, if I am bringing my Authentic Self to the table, the right energies will match that and the others that choose something else are finding what works for them. Interestingly, word of mouth from happy clients has been my best marketing tool. I have no doubt that BYOU will continue to grow and thrive because of what you, and it, continues to represent- an authentic self awareness and growth journey that is about your consumer.....and that we are merely conduit for that journey. That will continue to be evident through what you do, who BYOU is, and who you partner with. <3
