Although the term appeared a decade ago, its origins are a mystery. Some say the 710 term was found on Urban Dictionary back in 2010, however, it wasn’t connected to cannabis oil until the following year. Others believe the 710 term was created by TaskRok of Highly Educated. TaskRok mentioned in an interview with Leaf Online that he came up with it in chat with Healthstone and Beehive Oil Clothing. A massive, state-sanctioned cannabis retailer is coming to Times Square this fall! 🌿 James Mallios, a hospitality and real estate attorney, and U.S. Army veteran William Norgard, who won a lawsuit challenging NY's cannabis shop eligibility requirements, are teaming up to open a three-story cannabis retail experience at 719 Seventh Ave (30 Times Square). “We’re excited to, in the fall, unveil what is possibly the largest retail cannabis store on the eastern seaboard, in the middle of arguably one of the most visited places on the planet,” said Mallios. #cannabisnews #NYC #cannabisindustry

Minneapolis breweries are now serving hemp-derived, THC-infused drinks on tap, thanks to a new Minnesota law effective July 1. This means you can enjoy these unique beverages directly from the taproom, not just in cans, as long as they display the required label information. Dan Schnabel, taproom manager at HeadFlyer Brewing, told CBS that his team was ready for the change. A cannabis multistate operator challenging federal marijuana prohibition plans to take the case to the U.S. Supreme Court after it was dismissed by a lower federal court. This is the only venue that can overturn a 2005 Supreme Court decision upholding federal bans on the drug, U.S. District Court Judge Mark Mastroianni ruled on Monday.
