Do you have a Y story? Mine intersects with my professional career. Ben Zox, one of the founders of Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn (now Ice Miller), served on the YMCA board when I first started working at SZD as a brand-new lawyer. He was passionate about the YMCA’s impact on Central Ohio. It was infectious, and I’m still here for it!

Have you ever been surrounded by 30+ people who are passionately committed to serving their community? I have and was today at our YMCA of Central Ohio Board of Trustees meeting. These cause driven leaders are community leaders and neighbors who are for healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility.

In celebration of its 150th anniversary, the Columbus Metropolitan Library asked 24 artists to create works that in some way pay tribute to the resources, work and impact of the library. Stephanie Rond, director of the Carnegie Gallery at the Main Library, selected the artists and asked them to consider “what public libraries mean — specifically how they’re open to all — and what 150 years of service looks like.” Check out the beautiful works they came up with: https://buff.ly/3pyLGUY
