Director of Nursing of the Inpatient Surgical and Oncology floor at Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital, Brian Dawe, was awarded with the DAISY Nurse Leader Award for Extraordinary Nurses! 🥳 While Brian was originally nominated by a Patient Care Technician within his unit who wanted to have him recognized for his recent efforts in facilitating exceptional, patient-centered care and his leadership and dedication to the culture within the unit, Brian was additionally presented with four more nomination stories. These nominations came from employees within his unit, providers, and former patients, further showcasing Brian's commitment to integrity, making that human connection with another, and going the extra mile for anyone he comes in contact with.

Thinking of the HP community as it continues to move through this tragedy. Our healthcare workers are on the front lines of the gun violence crisis in America, and we're sending our thanks to you for supporting an end to that crisis through sponsorship of the 2024 Rock the Ride for Gun Violence Prevention, North Shore IL event. We hope we'll see your team there on August 18th for a day of community, action, and change - together - in remembrance of all those impacted by gun violence in IL. https://raceroster.com/events/2024/86859/rock-the-ride-north-shore
