My recent trip to Costa Rica was wonderful in many ways, but as a marketing professional and coffee lover the Hacienda Alsacia Starbucks Coffee Farm was probably my favorite stop. The branding and customer experience was completely on point. Familiar and consistent to the Starbucks standard, yet authentic to the location with lots of creative touches. And you just can’t beat sipping coffee with a waterfall view! I accidentally booked a Spanish language tour and they were able put us with another group the same day. The tour was so informative and gave me a new appreciation for the entire process. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting #CostaRica. To ensure a sustainable future of coffee for farmers and farming communities, Starbucks recently announced the expansion of our network of coffee innovation farms with four new farms across Africa, Asia and Latin America in the coming years to continue global agronomy innovation.
