My fiancé Ross Camp wrote a beautiful and personal piece for his company’s blog for Pride month. Neither of us take for granted how fortunate it is to work for employers who value all of who we are. While many companies are cynically dismantling DEI initiatives across the country, ours are ramping up! Look- I even proposed to Ross wearing my DEI jacket! I used to hide my sexuality at work. I vividly remember hearing disparaging comments from management about #gay people that were paralyzing to the core. So, when my current employer, Commvault, asked me to author a blog for #PRIDE, I immediately said yes. At Commvault, my relationship with Jeffrey Braverman is not only accepted but celebrated.
