Some awareness about Metabolic-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease #MASLD. MASLD affects millions globally, and approximately 20% of those diagnosed with MASLD will progress to Metabolic-Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis #MASH. This advanced stage can lead to severe liver complications, including #cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma #HCC. MASLD often presents with no symptoms until it progresses. Regular screenings and liver function tests are essential, especially for those with risk factors like #obesity, #diabetes, and high #cholesterol. Adopting precision treatment offered by doctors like scientifically proved AI enabled "Whole Body Digital Twin" program can help in maintaining a healthy weight thus significantly reduce the risk of MASLD progressing to MASH. Ensure to remission or worst case manage chronic conditions like #diabetes, #hypertension, #obesity and #dyslipidemia, which are often associated with MASLD. Knowledge is power. Great presentation from Paramesh Shamanna and Twin Health at the ADA in Florida. I loved the opening slide 'there is no such thing as the average human, so there's no one right way to eat'. The presentation then got even better with the great research presented. Twin Health are doing amazing work (combining AI and personalised human coaching) to ensure that people get individualised support to manage blood sugar levels and reverse chronic diseases 🙌
