What if we could use A.I. to guide blind people? I got inspired to create this illustration by the work of Karthik Mahadevan Mahadevan and the team of Envision in the Netherlands. They have created glasses that can interpret and describe the surroundings of a person with great accuracy and detail. They can also read documents and signals. The user can interact with their glasses in a conversational way. Their connection to natural language processing A.I. makes it a great companion for navigating daily life and for work. How do you get buy in for your ideas? At some point Karthik and his team went to pitch this idea and today it is a reality, shaping the future of thousands of people.
